We interviewed Perrin Marthe, our tenacious, reflective, and resilient Carrier Operations Manager, to learn more about her journey at Xpress Technologies.

“Every day is an absolute opportunity to achieve something good.”

-Perrin Marthe

What does an average day in your role look like?

Pure hustle! Reviewing business opportunities, the effectiveness of implemented strategies and course correcting, listening to and sharing information with my team and multiple layers of internal partners.

What gets you up in the morning?

Trying to find ways to improve. Process, team morale, service, knowledge of all kinds.

What is something your teammates don’t know about you?

Many are probably not aware I skipped my last couple of years of high school to accept a scholarship to the Savannah College of Art and Design where I majored for a time in illustration and animation.

Who is your role model and why?

My mom. She shattered the glass ceiling in the 1970’s in her twenties becoming the vice president of a small company. Taught me to always hear ‘No’s’ as conditional ‘Yes’s’ and go into every challenge with the intent of walking away with a least new understanding.

What is your favorite thing about Xpress Technologies culture?

Innovative Collaboration at all levels … every day

What are you most passionate about?

Communication, strategy, and being just a little better every day. Know where we want to go, design a roadmap, and course correct on the journey. Every day is an absolute opportunity to achieve something good.

How has your role at Xpress Technologies Evolved?

Building relationships with carriers has always been an important part of the play. But putting our understanding of their networks and the importance of true partnership as a prime focus has evolved dramatically over the years. The relationship groundwork was laid and with our new technological offerings, we are taking it to a whole new level.

What is your quote of the week?
